I'm sharing a computer with my dad and I'm curious if my setup can handle Elden Ring. I've got an Intel Xeon W-10885M processor and a Quadro RTX 4000 graphics card. We've had some trouble with high-end games like Assassin's Creed Origins and Forza Horizon 5 in the past, so I'd appreciate any insight. If it's not feasible, could anyone help troubleshoot or explain what's going wrong?

Have you tried lower resolutions like 640x480 or 1280x720? If you're dealing with a 2GB graphics card, that might explain the trouble, but I believe the Quadro RTX 4000 has 4GB, so that should help.
I have a similar setup, and I can play Elden Ring at 1080p without issues. It might be your CPU holding you back. Also, how much RAM do you have? That could be a factor too!
The Quadro RTX 4000 is roughly on par with an RTX 3060 for benchmarks. You can use that as a guideline for figuring out game compatibility. Just keep in mind that it may struggle at higher settings!
Maybe at 640x480... But I'd bet the 12GB RTX 3060 outperforms the Quadro significantly at 1080p.
If you're looking for a budget-friendly option, maybe try a refurbished office PC like a Dell or HP that can handle 60fps at low settings until you can save up for a better build.
Unfortunately, if your setup struggles with Assassin's Creed, it's unlikely to run Elden Ring well. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
Not what I wanted to hear, but thanks for the honest opinion!
Yeah, it actually has 4GB.
