I upgraded my system by adding two new 16GB RAM sticks to my setup, which already had two similar sticks for a total of 64GB. However, I've noticed that the new RAM sticks appear slightly taller than the older ones from a couple of years back. My PC recognizes all of them without any issues, but I'm concerned if this height difference means anything serious like being improperly seated or loose. Could this just be due to different production batches?

When you say they're taller, do you mean the heatsinks are bigger? If that's the case, it's usually not a problem at all. Just make sure they're seated properly in the slots, and you should be good to go!
It's possible that the new RAM is from a different production batch or even a new revision. You can check the RAM specs on the manufacturer's website to see if there are any differences. If you're really worried about them being loose, you could try pulling them out and reinserting them just to be safe.
Thanks! I did check the slots and everything seems fine, but those new sticks do look a bit higher compared to the older ones.
