Hey everyone! I just wrapped up school and I'm getting ready to start college at the end of July. I've got a good amount of free time, so I decided to dive into learning Python. I started with the 'Python Course for Beginners 2025' by Programming with Mosh on YouTube, but now I'm feeling a bit stuck. What should I focus on next? Any recommendations for resources or topics I should tackle after this? I'd really appreciate your help!

You might want to explore platforms like Udacity, Udemy, or Code Academy for excellent Python tutorials. Joining an open-source project on GitHub can also be super helpful – you’ll learn a lot by collaborating with others and fixing their code. Plus, it’s a great way to network!
You should definitely check out freeCodeCamp.org! They have fantastic resources for beginners. Once you grasp the basics, why not try building a small web app? It’s a great way to apply what you've learned!
What are your specific interests? If you feel comfortable with the basics, consider taking the Algorithmic Toolbox course on Coursera. It's free and can really enhance your skills! Also, I have some beginner Python books available at inventwithpython.com if you're interested.
If backend web development sounds interesting to you, I recommend looking into Python frameworks like Flask or Django. They are popular choices for web apps and can be really fun to work with!
I don't think YouTube is the best choice for learning... there are better resources.
