Hey all, I'm having a tough time getting Windows 10 installed on my ThinkPad T410. I'm using a Ventoy USB drive with the Windows ISO, but I keep hitting errors like "Failed to create a new partition or locate an existing one." Here's what I've tried: I cleaned the disk using diskpart, converted it to MBR, created and formatted partitions, and even switched the SATA mode in the BIOS between AHCI and Compatibility (IDE). I also removed all partitions to let the installer create new ones itself, and I attempted to manage partitions via Kali Linux. I checked the USB boot order and BIOS settings on the ThinkPad T410 and switched USB ports (using USB 2.0). But no matter what I do, the installation fails at the partitioning step or complains that the disk is too small. If anyone has advice or experience with Ventoy and this model, I'd really appreciate your input. Thanks!

Is your ThinkPad too old to support Windows 10? It could be a compatibility issue. Just throwing that out there since I had some trouble with older hardware and newer OSs.
Have you considered using Rufus instead? Sometimes Ventoy can have compatibility issues, and Rufus might handle the bootable USB better. Also, if possible, trying another hard drive could be worth checking out.
Using Rufus to create a new bootable USB is a solid idea. I recommend resetting your BIOS to default settings and attempting the installation again after selecting GPT in Rufus. It should work much smoother.
