Has anyone else encountered an issue where their RTX 3080, specifically the EVGA FTW3 model, gets stuck showing a temperature of 26°C after updating to the NVIDIA graphics driver version 576.02? I noticed this while gaming as my fans were going crazy, but the GPU temperature reading stayed frozen. Restarting my computer sometimes resolves it, but I'm curious if others have experienced this weird behavior or found a permanent fix. For reference, I'm using Windows 11 with an Intel i7-10850K, MSI Z490 TOMAHAWK motherboard, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1000W SEASONIC power supply. I've attached a screenshot from Open Hardware Monitor for more context.

Yeah, I've come across similar issues after that driver update. Some monitoring software doesn't read the temperatures correctly. If you have the NVIDIA GeForce Experience app, you can press Alt+Z to bring up the overlay and check the GPU temp there—might help!
If you're still having temp issues, try disabling fast startup in Windows. That worked for me after the driver update—it might just solve your problem.
It's been pretty wild with this recent driver update messing with temps. I’d recommend rolling back to an earlier driver if you keep having problems—it fixed my issues on a 3070 when I encountered a similar temp lock at 29°C.
I appreciate the advice! I’m definitely considering rolling back. Just hoping they fix it with another update soon.
Good point! Just remember that if the readings are off, your fan curves might not react properly and could overheat the GPU if it thinks it's still cool.
