I'm using an NVIDIA GeForce 1650 along with an Intel Core i5-10400 CPU and 31.92 GB of RAM. I usually play games like War Thunder and Sprocket at around 120-140 frames per second, and I've never dropped below 60. However, I've noticed that recently my frames have been dropping drastically to around 20. It starts fine with good frames for about 5 minutes, then the drop happens. I'm trying to figure out if this is a problem with my PC hardware or if my WiFi is to blame for the performance issues.

Have you added any new software or applications lately? Sometimes background apps can really mess with performance, so check if anything's running that shouldn't be.
Your hardware might just be reaching its limits. Those frame drops could be a result of VRAM saturation or a CPU bottleneck. It would help to look at your CPU, GPU, and VRAM usage while gaming to get a clearer picture.
Don't forget to check for any background apps and make sure your NVIDIA drivers are updated. Also, keep an eye on your temps while playing; that can also affect performance!
It might be due to thermal throttling. I have a similar setup with a 1650 and I once had major frame drops because my cooler was full of dust. Just cleaning it out and reapplying thermal paste fixed everything for me. You might want to check your cooler too!
Thermal throttling on a 10400? Nah, that CPU hardly draws power with its low core count. I think it's more likely malware or something, especially since OP mentioned internet speed affecting FPS.
