I'm looking to buy a new GPU and want to keep my budget around $600. I'm trying to decide between the RX 7800 XT and the RTX 5070. Any thoughts on which one would be the better option?

Why not grab the cheaper option and save some cash for an OLED display down the line? It’s a win-win!
I've really enjoyed my RX 7800 XT, but honestly, the RTX 5070 might be the smarter choice right now. It's showing better performance in a lot of scenarios.
If you can find an RTX 5070 for $600, that’s the way to go! The only leg up the 7800 XT has is its 16GB of VRAM, compared to the 12GB on the 5070. Otherwise, the 5070 is just a better overall card.
The only area where the RX 7800 XT shines is its VRAM. If you're needing more VRAM, go with AMD. But for overall performance, the 5070 is likely the better option unless VRAM becomes a bottleneck for you.
Simply put, I’d go with the 5070 any day! Just got mine, and it’s been a fantastic investment for my gaming needs.
Exactly! If you're focused on specs, the 5070 just seems to outdo the 7800 XT in almost every metric.
