Is a Corsair VS550 Power Supply Good Enough for an RTX 3060 Upgrade?

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about upgrading my old PC a bit. Right now, I'm using an R5 1600X, and I plan to swap that for a Ryzen 7 5800X3D. I also want to replace my GTX 1060 with an RTX 3060 8GB. I'll be upgrading my RAM from 16GB DDR3 to 16GB DDR4. I'm really trying not to spend too much since I plan on getting DDR6 RAM in about two years, which means I'll get a whole new PC, except for the GPU. My main question is: will the Corsair VS550 power supply be enough for my new setup? Oh, and I'll also be streaming!

That power supply should be just fine! A 550W unit is generally sufficient for that build. Just a heads up though—aren’t you already on AM4 with DDR4 RAM? If you're currently using R5 1600X, you might already have DDR4.

I built my rig about 7 years ago, and DDR4 came out right after, so I'm on AM4. I’m only upgrading to DDR4 now because I don’t want to spend too much—keeping it under $500!
