I bought an SD card from Temu, and when I try to transfer files from another SD card (also from Temu, which has been working great since 2023), the new card keeps showing an inflated file size. For example, a video that should take up 1GB now shows as 39GB on the new card. Any idea what could be causing this?

Sounds like you might be dealing with a card that has some shifty firmware. It's possible that the actual file is still 1GB, but it's just displayed as larger to trick you into thinking the card has more capacity than it actually does. That can be a tactic used to make the card seem better than it is. Watch out for that!
Is that a bad sign? Should I keep using this card?
