I'm totally new to building PCs and I'm looking for advice on how to build a budget-friendly setup that can handle VR gaming. I really don't know where to start, so any tips or suggestions would be super helpful!

First off, how much do you plan to spend?
VR gaming can be pretty demanding, especially with newer headsets that require a lot of graphical power. If you're on a budget, focus on getting the best graphics card you can afford because VR is mostly constrained by GPU performance rather than CPU. Aim for at least 90-120 frames per second for a smooth experience. You might find that Radeon GPUs are better for this due to their raw performance and higher VRAM.
Under $1,000.
