I'm working with a budget of around £1300 for a new gaming PC, but I could stretch it a bit if necessary. I'm not fully up to date on the latest hardware, and I'm aiming to play games at 240 Hz and 1440p resolution. You don't actually need a 5070 to run games at 1440p. I've got a 2060, and while I have to tweak some settings down, it handles 1440p just fine. I’d recommend considering 32GB of RAM, but if your budget allows, going for 64GB might be worth it. Also, check out the 970 SSD; it’s cheaper and performs similarly. Lastly, if you're tight on budget, swapping out an AIO cooler for a good heatsink could save you some cash without sacrificing too much cooling performance.
