Is My CPU Bottlenecking My New GPU?

I've been upgrading my gaming setup, and after having a 1080TI paired with a Ryzen 5 5600x for quite some time, I'm finally noticing some performance issues. I recently upgraded to a 4080 Super GPU but I'm not sure how much of a bottleneck I might be facing with my 5600x CPU. I've seen some talk about AM5 sockets, but I'm unsure if it's worth the trouble and cost to rebuild my system just for a potential improvement of around 10 frames per second. I'm mainly playing modded Skyrim, Destiny 2, Helldivers, and Arma Reforger at 1440p. Currently, I'm running 64GB of DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz. How bad is this bottleneck really going to be?

To get a clear picture of your GPU's performance, track its usage in the task manager while you're gaming. This will show you if you're maxing it out or not. You can also check out benchmarks for your favorite games to see what kind of FPS you should expect from an unchoked 4080 Super.

You might want to consider an upgrade to something like a Ryzen 7 7700 paired with a B650 motherboard and CL30 6000MHz DDR5 RAM. That combo could probably give you around a 30% increase in frames!

What makes you say that? Any specific benchmarks?
