Is My PC Build on the Right Track?

I'm diving into my first PC build and I think I've settled on a solid combo: a Ryzen 7 7800x3d CPU, a 5060 Ti GPU with 16GB, an ASUS B650-E motherboard, 32GB of RAM, and an 80+ Gold 750 watt PSU. Do you think this is a good setup? Also, I'm on the lookout for recommendations on a CPU cooler since I'm not sure which would work best with this setup.

Definitely check out the Phantom Spirit cooler instead of the Peerless Assassin as it's the updated version with better cooling capabilities. Also, the ID Cooling SE 206 is another good option if you're looking for alternatives.

Awesome, more options make things easier! Thanks for the suggestion!

The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE would be a good fit for cooling. However, you might want to reconsider the CPU. The 7800x3d is quite powerful and may be overkill for the 5060 Ti. You could save some cash and go for a Ryzen 7 7700X instead, and maybe invest that savings into a better GPU like the RTX 5070. Just a thought!

Thanks for the advice! I was drawn to the 7800x3d because it's known to be one of the best for gaming, but I’m concerned about finding the RTX 5070 at a decent price.

Totally get that! I’d love to see how it performs in some real-world gaming scenarios.
