I'm planning to build my first PC but I'm really scared about messing something up or breaking a part. My budget is $2,000 USD and I don't want to waste that kind of money on a project that might not work out. Any advice from those who've been there?

Check out a lot of YouTube videos first! Building a PC might seem daunting at first, but it's actually not too tough. Just take your time and don't rush through the steps. It helps to get familiar with the process before you dive in.
Definitely try to find recent tutorials! Or consider hiring an assembly service if you really feel unsure about it. There are options out there to make it easier.
With a $2,000 budget, you might consider a prebuilt system too. You can get a solid rig that way and save yourself some stress while learning more about PCs. But if you’re set on building, jump in!
I appreciate the suggestion, but I really want to try building it myself!
Make sure all your components are compatible! When you get your parts, take it slow on the assembly. Don’t over-tighten the screws and double-check each connection. You’ll do great, just have patience!
Yeah, the troubleshooting can be frustrating. I had a motherboard issue once, and it was tough trying to figure out what went wrong. Prebuilts come with warranties, which is nice, but if you really want specific parts or enjoy the building process, then go for it!
That’s solid advice! I found that watching tutorials made it way less intimidating.
