Should I Choose AMD or Intel for My First Gaming PC?

I'm building my first gaming PC and planning to get an RTX 5070 Ti GPU. I've heard that the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and 9800X3D are better options compared to the Intel i7-14900 and i9. I'm wondering if I should spend an extra $100-150 to go with the AMD CPUs or stick with Intel. What do you all think?

The AMD chips really are worth it! They consume less power while providing better performance and will have a longer lifespan. Totally recommend going for the Ryzen.

Should I just go for the 7800 or jump straight to the 9800?

If you're building a new rig, definitely go for either the Ryzen 7 7800X3D or 9800X3D. They're designed to give you great performance for gaming.
