How Can I Backup My iPhone 15 Pro with a Panic Kernel Issue?

I'm having a tough time with my iPhone 15 Pro. The back of the phone is damaged, but the screen is fine. I'm currently typing this on it since it restarts every 2.5 minutes due to a panic kernel issue, likely caused by a faulty wireless coil. Unfortunately, this means I can't back up my phone using iCloud or my MacBook, and I can't even back up apps like WhatsApp because they need more than the short time between restarts. It's been about two months since my last backup, and I'm really worried about losing my data. Is there any hope for me, or should I just accept that this situation is a lost cause?

To save your data, you'll need to replace the damaged parts, but I suggest not going through Apple for this. They typically won't dive deep enough to fix just the back. It might require a logic board replacement which would wipe your data, so consider a simple back replacement instead. Also, you could try updating the phone while it's in recovery mode using your computer. Just remember, this is risky and should be your last resort before losing hope on the backup. Check out this guide for recovery mode: [Apple Support](https://support.apple.com/en-us/118106). Make sure to choose "update" rather than "restore" when prompted!

Got it! Thanks for the heads-up about the recovery mode update. I'll be careful!

Just a note, if you decide to try the recovery mode option, make sure you have a solid internet connection. Good luck!
