Can I save my Windows session and use hibernation effectively?

I'm curious if there's a way to save the whole state of Windows, like being logged in and having programs open. Is hibernation still a viable option, and does it work even if I completely turn off the power?

Hibernation saves your current session to your hard drive or SSD and then shuts down your computer, so it uses no power at all. Just be careful when shutting down; wait until it’s fully off before disconnecting the power. Depending on your machine, especially the speed of your SSD, it might take a minute to shut down completely. I use it often, but I do recommend restarting Windows every few weeks to keep things running smoothly.

Yeah, hibernation definitely works! You can turn your machine off and it’ll save everything just how you left it.
