I'm currently searching for a reliable open source remote management software for my team of 15 IT professionals. We're using MremoteNG with a pre-configured config file right now. While it's functional, it doesn't quite meet our needs for efficiency. I've started looking into Apache's Guacamole as a potential option. Do you have any other recommendations?

You can actually test out Guacamole at opsbay.com with a free account. If your main goal is to access SSH hosts, consider checking out some web SSH solutions as an alternative.
Guacamole works well for accessing server fleets. Just so you know, it's what Azure Bastion is based on. If you need direct server management, consider Red Hat Satellite or Azure Arc instead. For endpoint management, MeshCentral is a great, budget-friendly RMM option if you team it up with something like Intune for config management.
Have you considered TacticalRMM? It's a solid open source choice if you're specifically looking for something that fits your requirements.
Unfortunately, my company is not keen on spending money on necessary software... classic situation!
We've been using MeshCentral for about three years now, and it’s been working really well for us!
It’s funny how companies are willing to spend on 15 IT employees but hesitate on proper RMM tools or remote access applications. Sometimes the costs of doing business can be frustrating! Just get the right tools like Remote Desktop Manager; it'll save you headaches.
We're dealing with more servers than endpoints, so I'm leaning towards the server management tools.
