Hi everyone! I'm currently using an older computer with an A6-3420M processor and an HD 6520G GPU, running Windows 10. It handles basic tasks and retro gaming pretty well, but I'm curious about switching to Linux for various reasons. How well do you think my hardware will perform with Linux?

You'll likely have a smooth experience! Both Linux Mint and MX Linux are solid choices for older hardware like yours. You can easily create a bootable USB stick with Ventoy if you want to try them out before fully committing.

I was leaning towards Pop!_OS because of the name, but Mint sounds safer. I remember my school used it on library PCs years ago!
