If you're considering features and enterprise cloud capabilities, Azure might have the edge. However, if your focus is on development and application hosting, AWS is generally the go-to. Personally, I'm an Azure professional but I'm exploring GCP too since it offers unique features that could be vital in the future.

AWS currently leads the market, showing around 30-32% of the share, while Azure follows with 24-25%. Learning both is a great strategy since having experience across various platforms like AWS, Azure, and even GCP can really enhance your job prospects.

To really maximize your opportunities, consider getting comfortable with both AWS and Azure. That way, you can make decisions based on which platform suits a company's needs better rather than solely on your skills. I've seen some fantastic setups in Azure and some real messes in AWS (and the other way around too). It might be a good idea to get intro certifications for both and see which one you enjoy working with more. If you want to pick just one right now, I'd lean towards AWS as the safer bet.
