About 10 days ago, I accidentally spilled some milk on my laptop. I didn't open it up or take it for repair, and I haven't turned it on since the spill. Now, I'm wondering if I need to take it in for repairs or if it's too late for that. The laptop was working fine after I turned it off. What should I do?

You really need to open it up and clean it. Leaving milk inside can cause it to get gross over time, and you'll start noticing an awful smell or even ants making their way in. Milk is one of the worst things to leave in a laptop, trust me! No matter how fine it seems now, it won't be good in the long run. You could also check online for some tutorials on how to safely take it apart.
Hey, first off, don’t stress too much about it! Just take action now. If I were you, I would have ripped the battery out right away and used a little water to rinse off the milk, but that's something you probably can't do at this point. Your best bet now is to open it up and clean it.
If you're comfortable taking it apart, do that and soak any plastic parts in water to clean out the milk. Just remember, don’t use a dishwasher; it could warp the plastics. If you don’t want to risk it, a pro can clean it out for you, usually for around a hundred bucks.
Newer laptops do have some spill protection, so there's a chance yours might be okay. But be warned, the keyboard could start acting up, with some keys getting sticky or just not responding at all. You should definitely get it checked out if you haven't already.
