Is it okay to mix RAM from different brands if the only difference is the CAS latency?

I'm currently using two 16GB sticks of CL36 6000 MT/s RAM and I'm considering buying another pair with the same specifications but with CL30 from a different brand. Is this a good idea? Will mixing the two sets make a noticeable difference in performance?

You can probably mix them, but I wouldn't recommend it. Having four sticks of DDR5 can slow things down quite a bit.

Oh, interesting point. Would you say upgrading to 2x32GB (64GB) of CL30 at 6000 MT/s would be a better move?
