I just finished building my first PC and I'm running into an issue with my RTX 5070. It doesn't appear in the performance tab of my Task Manager like it should; instead, it's showing the integrated GPU as the main one. There's also a flashing red light near the PCIe connection on the graphics card. I checked, and I can't seem to disable the integrated GPU in the BIOS. I've reseated the 5070 and ensured that all the cables are securely connected both to the GPU and the PSU. I suspect the red light could indicate a power issue, but I'm using a Lian Li Edge Gold 850W power supply with a 450W 12vhpwr connector that came with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Here are my specs: ASRock B650M Pro RS Wifi, Ryzen 5 7600x, Teamgroup T-Create 32GB 6000 CL30, PNY RTX 5070 OC, Lian Li Edge Gold 850W.

Sounds like the drivers could be the culprit here. After you install them, it’s normal for the integrated GPU to still show up, but usually, the dedicated card should take over as the main GPU. Regarding that red light, are you sure it’s not from your M.2 SSD being under the heatsink? Some SSDs have indicators that might flash during activity.

Just installed the drivers, and now the GPU is showing alongside the iGPU (5070 as GPU 0 and iGPU as GPU 1). I do have my boot drive under the heatsink, so that could be it?

Did you install the drivers for your RTX 5070? That could be why it's not showing up. Sometimes the integrated GPU might still show up as GPU 1 even if you've connected everything correctly. Also, that red flashing light could be a separate issue, maybe check if it's from your M.2 SSD instead.

Oh my god I'm silly. It's showing the 5070 in Task Manager now as GPU 0 but the iGPU is still shown as GPU 1. The red blinking is still happening by the PCIe though.
