Hey everyone, I recently built a PC that was working great, playing games like a cracked title and Marvel Rivals on Steam. However, after leaving for the weekend, I returned to find that none of my games would launch. The cracked game just leaves me with a black screen, and when I try to start Marvel Rivals on Steam, it shows as 'launching/running' but nothing happens. The PC itself starts up fine for a few seconds but then begins to act up. Even the Task Manager is giving me trouble; I can access it, but when I click on the performance tab, it crashes, and all the app logos show as blank white squares. I've already attempted resetting Windows from a backup, but that didn't resolve the issue. I ended up doing a completely clean install of Windows via download, which worked for a bit, but the problems returned as soon as I installed Marvel Rivals again. I'm feeling really down about this since I planned to reward myself with this build, and it's just been two weeks since I enjoyed my PC. I've posted elsewhere, but I'm getting ignored or having my posts taken down. Any help would be super appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Try using HWMonitor to keep an eye on your temperatures while stress testing with Cinebench R23. You're likely looking at a cooling issue or maybe your hardware isn't functioning correctly.
It sounds like you might have a hardware issue. Here’s a suggestion: back up your data if you can, then create a bootable flash drive with the Windows Media Creation Tool on another PC. Use it to wipe your OS drive completely and reinstall Windows. After that, download your drivers and try running some games again. If they still don't work, you might have a dead GPU. If they do work, your cracked game could have caused some lingering issues which need fixing.
You might also want to double-check your hardware connections and make sure everything's seated properly before going through the reinstallation.
Thanks for the detailed steps! I'll try verifying my connections and reinstalling Windows, especially since I don't have anything crucial saved on it.
