Hey everyone! I'm currently running a build you can check out here: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GGc6FZ](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GGc6FZ). Recently upgraded my GPU and PSU, but I overlooked that my motherboard and CPU are outdated. I've been advised to get a new CPU and motherboard to ensure I get stable performance, aiming for over 60fps on games like Helldivers 2 and Destiny 2 at QHD resolution on my Dell 27" monitor with GSync. I'd love to hear your suggestions for new CPU and motherboard options!

Just a quick heads up, since you mentioned needing to upgrade, I'd recommend considering AM5 for future-proofing. Maybe look at a Ryzen 5 7600X paired with a decent B650 motherboard for a great balance between performance and cost. For Intel, a Core i5-12400F with a B660 board would also be a solid choice!
Honestly, your GPU and PSU should be fine. It really comes down to whether you want to stick with older platforms like AM4 or 10-11th Gen Intel, or if you’re open to the newer setups like AM5 or 12-14th Gen Intel. Depending on your budget, both paths could offer solid performance for your gaming needs.
