Is Using Claude Software for My Startup a Good Idea?

I'm currently using the upgraded Claude to create a basic version of the software I need for an auto refinance brokerage. My goal is to save time and money while building out the necessary functionality. I know I'll need to invest significant work on the back end to ensure everything is compliant and fully operational. I'm wondering if this approach is productive or if I'm just wasting my time. Can this serve as a decent MVP (minimum viable product) that I can later present to a professional software company? Will they have to start from scratch, or can they utilize the code that Claude has generated to help reduce costs and speed up the full build? I have very limited coding and IT experience, so any insights or suggestions would be incredibly helpful!

Using Claude could indeed be a good way to create a Proof of Concept! It’s likely you can build a minimum viable product (MVP) with it, especially if you're experienced. Keep in mind though, if you're working with sensitive data, it might not be the best idea to go live with Claude alone. If you plan to develop enterprise-grade software later on, partnering with a skilled team could really help turbocharge your build process. Just be aware that there's usually a lot to learn and you might feel like you're going in circles at times.
