I'm on the hunt for reliable yet affordable 10 gigabit fiber SFPs. I've come across fs.com, which offers them for around $30 each. Is that a fair price, or are there better options out there?

FS.com is my choice as well. I keep some spares handy just in case, but honestly, they've been great even in tough environments. We've got some gear in a place where it overheated because a heater malfunctioned, and everything survived the ordeal, which was a surprise!
I’m a fan of FS too! They’re quite budget-friendly, and I've had zero problems with the 70 units we’re currently using.
As a VAR, I often deal with overpriced OEM SFPs, but I've switched to FS.com and haven’t looked back. They’ve improved their quality significantly over time. Just a heads up, it might be wise to keep a couple of OEM units on-site for any tech issues, but most technicians don’t seem to mind using third-party options now.
We usually go with 10gtek. They’ve been reliable for us, and we haven't had any failures so far. Just curious, have you experienced any issues with them?
No issues so far with 10gtek, just looking for some peace of mind!
Wow, that sounds wild! It’s good to know the gear held up during that crisis.
