I have a 5070 Ti paired with a 9700X CPU, and I'm curious if I'm experiencing any bottlenecking with my setup. How much, if any, bottlenecking is happening? Should I consider upgrading to one of the latest CPUs?

Just take a look at your CPU and GPU usage in Task Manager while gaming. Honestly, outside of top-tier CPUs like the 9800X3D, there isn’t a significant upgrade available for you right now. Your hardware is solid!

Having a slight GPU bottleneck is actually ideal because it means you're maximizing your graphics card's performance. The 9700X is pretty recent and works great with the 5070 Ti for gaming at 1440p. You’re in a good place with your current setup!

You’d practically have to try to bottleneck your GPU with that CPU! Just enjoy your awesome rig without stressing about it too much. You've got a killer system!

Nope, you’re not bottlenecking at all at 1440p or 4k. At 1080p with esports titles, there might be a minor bottleneck, but it's pretty negligible. Your setup is definitely good enough to handle anything you want to play without issues!

It’s unlikely you're bottlenecking, especially if you're gaming at 1440p or higher. If you're at 1080p with low settings for max FPS, there could be a slight CPU bottleneck—but usually, you should check your GPU usage in-game. If it's not hitting close to 100%, then yeah, maybe your CPU is holding it back a bit.
