I'm looking to use a pendrive with my phone, but I've run into some issues doing it without a computer or laptop. I have a USB Type-C and an Apple connector for my pendrive, but I can't seem to connect or open it on my mobile device. Any ideas on how to get this to work?

Exactly, the filesystem matters! Both phones can read certain types of filesystems like FAT32 but may struggle with others. It would help to identify what your USB is formatted as and whether your phone supports it.
Sometimes, the USB connection requires different modes to work properly. Make sure your phone is set to file transfer mode in the USB settings. If that’s not the issue, check what filesystem format your USB is using, as that could also affect compatibility.

You can absolutely connect a pendrive to both iOS and Android phones! Just make sure you have an OTG (On-The-Go) cable to facilitate the connection. If you haven’t used one before, that’s key! Give it another shot with the right setup.
