I recently used a pigtail power supply cable with my XFX Swift Edition 9070 XT. Since I can't replace the cable until I visit my boyfriend, who lives quite far away, I'm wondering if it's okay to keep using it for now. Should I be concerned about his gaming with the current setup?

Yes, it's safe to keep gaming with it for a bit, but not long-term. Just ensure he’s not pushing the GPU too hard until you can switch to a better cable.

I think it’s fine for now, but be cautious. Yes, it's not ideal, but as long as he monitors the GPU's performance and does not overwork it, it should be okay for occasional gaming.

While it may work, using a pigtail cable with your GPU isn't recommended. It’s better to use a dedicated cable if possible to avoid any potential issues. If your boyfriend can keep it off for a month, that might be wise. If he has to game, just keep an eye on the temps and performance for any weird behaviors.
