I recently stumbled upon my old gaming laptop from about five years ago. I was really excited to boot it up and play some classic games, but then I hit a roadblock: I'm stuck at the password screen! I'm pretty sure my little brother changed the password, but when I asked him, he couldn't recall it either. I've tried a lot of guesses, but nothing has worked. I even attempted a factory reset, but it still required a password, and I had some issues getting it connected to the internet. Is there any way to reset the password on this laptop? It's running Windows 11, and I would really appreciate any help!

If it's asking for the password, an option could be to create a new Windows 11 USB stick and install Windows fresh. Just be aware that this will erase everything on the laptop.
You could try using Hiren's Boot CD. It has tools that can help you disable the password. Just make a bootable USB and you should be good to go!
Thanks for the tip! I might have to go that route.
