Why is my WiFi connected but there’s no internet access on my PC?

I woke up to find that my Acer Nitro 5, which was working perfectly fine last night, now connects to the WiFi but doesn't have internet access. I've tried a bunch of fixes, like rebooting the router, using the Windows shortcut to install a new driver, running admin commands, and even forgetting and reconnecting to the network. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

Is the internet working on other devices in your home? If so, you might need admin access to your router to investigate further. Try looking up how to access your router's settings based on its model and your internet provider. Also, check for any MAC filtering settings that might be blocking your PC. It's also worth considering if someone accidentally removed your PC's internet access.

My WiFi is working fine on other devices. I don't think I have admin access to the router, and my mom said nobody is messing with it.

First, check what IP address your PC is getting. Make sure it has a proper IP address, gateway, and DNS servers assigned. You can ping your router's gateway to see if that works, and then try pinging 8.8.8.8 to test internet connectivity. That should help identify the issue!
