Hey everyone, I'm reaching out for some help with my MI 55-inch TV. I recently installed an app for work on it, and it was functioning perfectly for a few hours. Then suddenly, the screen went completely blank while the audio and buttons were still seemingly working. It's been three days, and despite trying a lot of troubleshooting, including attempting a factory reset, I can't see the display to do anything. I even called a technician, but he claims the display is broken and insists it isn't related to the app. I'm skeptical about that since it all started after the installation. Now, I can't even hear any audio, and all I get is a blank screen when I turn it on. Can sideloading an app really cause this? What are my chances of getting it fixed without spending a fortune? Any advice would be appreciated!

There might be a way to factory reset your TV using the physical buttons, even without the display. It's worth searching for your TV model online to find specific instructions.
What's the exact make and model of your TV? That might help to determine if there are any specific reset options available.
It's a Mi 4K Pro 55 inches.
Have you tried switching the input source to something else, like a laptop via HDMI? Sometimes that can kickstart the display back to life.
I thought about that, but the HDMI ports are male to male, so it's been tricky.
Honestly, I'm pretty sure the app didn't cause your display to break. It might just be a coincidence.
I thought that too, but it was fine one moment and then just blank after being turned off and back on.
Make sure to post the exact model online; someone might know a way to get it reset without seeing the screen.
Tried all the combinations I could find, but no luck. The buttons were working at first, but now I can’t hear anything either.
