Hey everyone! I just got a new Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor that boasts 16 cores and 22 threads. However, I noticed in the Task Manager that it seems to be using only 20 threads instead of all 22. Can anyone shed some light on why this might be happening or offer any solutions? I'd really appreciate your help! Thanks!

It sounds like your processor may be utilizing ultra-efficient cores for standby mode, which is common in this kind of architecture. It's not just an issue specific to Lenovo—many devices with similar CPUs show the same behavior. Some users speculate that these 'efficiency' cores are meant to save power when the device is not under heavy load. Gotcha! But why would standby need that processing power? Is that why my battery seems to drain randomly and wakes up even when I close the lid?
