Help! My Intel i5 9400 is Overheating Badly

Hey everyone! I've been having a serious overheating issue with my Intel i5 9400 processor. It gets up to 80-90°C while just sitting on the desktop, and it can hit 100°C when I'm running it under load! I'm using Windows 10, but I've also tried it in the BIOS and on Arch Linux, and the same overheating happens. I've maxed out all the fans and I think the airflow in my case is decent. Any suggestions on what might be going wrong?

From what you describe, it sounds like you might have a failing pump. If you’ve got an all-in-one cooler, check to see if it’s making any unusual noises. Sometimes the pump just stops working properly, and you might need to replace it.

Heard the usual pump sounds, so not sure about that!
