I'm dealing with an issue where my iPad is frozen on the Apple logo. I've tried force restarting it and letting it die, but the problem persists. I also want to wipe it out, but when I connect it to my laptop, it doesn't get detected, so I'm stuck. Does anyone have advice for this situation?

Have you tried plugging your iPad into a different USB port or using another cable? Sometimes the issue with detection can be as simple as that. Also, make sure your Windows laptop has the latest updates and drivers for Apple devices.
I think it sounds like a tricky issue, especially since you've done the typical force restart. It would be helpful to know which iPad model you're using and what exactly you've tried so far. Sometimes, an outdated iOS or connection issue can cause this too.
It's an 11 inch 2nd generation iPad. I did try force restarting it by pressing volume up, volume down, and holding the power, but it keeps returning to the same Apple logo. I also let it die and charged it back up, but no luck.
I did try different cables and ports, but still no detection on the laptop.
