I've finally decided to update my Windows 11 PC after a long while. I managed to get one part of the update (the antivirus part) installed without a hitch, but the next part just won't finish installing. Sometimes it gets to 100%, and then I run into an installation error and have to try again. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Definitely check for any error codes if you're getting them. I contacted Microsoft support about a similar issue, and they helped me get it sorted out pretty quickly!
Oh man, I get your frustration! First off, make sure you're not installing any extra antivirus software; Windows Defender is usually enough. Just use some good old common sense while browsing, and you'll be fine. Also, did you try a simple reboot? Sometimes that works wonders.
Well, I've already tried rebooting my PC, and that didn’t help. After some digging, it seems like a common issue. I've heard that running a disk cleanup might help? I should probably check that out next, right?
If your machine is a bit older, you might want to refresh it before updating. There's been a known issue with Windows 11 updates failing on older systems unless they refresh to the latest patch. Check your system specs and see if that’s the case.
