Why is my new PC freezing randomly while browsing?

I just built a new PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, a Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 motherboard, G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB RAM (64 GB, 6000MHz), and an RTX 5080 MSI Ventus X3 OC PLUS graphics card. I'm running two Lexar NM790 4TB SSDs and using a be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 1000W power supply with a Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Atmos ARGB cooler in a Fractal Design Define 7 TG case. I've noticed that my PC freezes randomly during the day while I'm using Chrome. I can move the mouse and click, but nothing opens. The RGB on my RAM also turns off during these freezes. Task Manager sometimes pops up, but I can't interact with it meaningfully, which is frustrating. I've checked for issues in the event viewer and tried disabling XMP and C-states, but nothing seems to help. A clean install is on my mind, but I'm worried about losing files. Anyone have any ideas on what's going wrong?

It sounds like you're struggling with RAM stability. Since your RAM runs on EXPO/XMP, check if your Ryzen 7 9800X3D is stable with the current settings. It's critical to ensure that your BIOS is updated to the latest version, as support for new components and fixes can help. Have you tested the RAM on standard speeds to see if the issue persists?

I updated the BIOS back in January, but I haven't checked for updates since then.
