I'm curious about when OpenAI might start integrating advertisements to boost their revenue. They've mentioned struggling with profitability, and I can see them generating quite a bit—like $10 billion a year—if they went the ad route, similar to how Google does with AdWords. What do you all think?

Honestly, if they ever put ads in anything I’m subscribed to, I’d be out. I’ve already ditched Netflix and Prime for similar reasons. I’m not paying for ads!
I really hope they never go down that road, especially since I’d be paying for a subscription. If ads show up, I’d just switch to another AI that doesn’t use them and values user privacy more.
I think if ads come, it’ll only be on the free tier. The paid plans might stay ad-free, but who knows? It’s a tricky business!
True, but even so, I’d worry they’d still find ways to push products through sponsorships.
