Looking for a KVM Switch for My New 34″ Monitor

Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a KVM switch because I'm setting up a new ASUS TUF Gaming 34" Curved Monitor (180Hz, 1ms response) that will be used for both work and some light gaming (mainly Fortnite and indie games). I'm planning to connect my PC which has USB 3.0 and DisplayPort, and a laptop that supports Thunderbolt. I'd like to connect my laptop via a Thunderbolt to DisplayPort cable to the KVM. My goal is to have a seamless experience with the monitor without breaking the bank, but I want to future-proof my setup. I've looked into a few brands, but I'm not too impressed with Tesmart and Startech is a bit pricey for my budget. I would really appreciate any recommendations for a KVM switch that can handle this setup effectively!

Check out Level1Tech’s KVM switches. They often have good options for setups like yours!

I actually looked into Level1Tech's KVMs, but their site was down due to some error when I tried to check it out. Felt like a bad sign, but thanks for the suggestion!

I think the Anker 553 USB could work for you. It's worth checking out the reviews, especially for multitasking since it handles G-Sync well! Here’s a link to a review that might help: [Anker 553 review](https://www.reddit.com/r/UsbCHardware/comments/15nnicx/anker_553_docking_station_kvm_review_w_gsync/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

If you're aiming for smooth 1440p at 144Hz with reliable USB switching, you might want to consider the ATEN CS782DP. It’s more of a splurge but performs really well compared to budget KVMs which often struggle at those refresh rates or with USB-C to DisplayPort connections.

That one seems reasonably priced and matches my needs! The reviews on Amazon are a bit mixed though, so I’m still hesitant. Thanks for the suggestion!
