I also ran sfc /scannow, which reported that it found and repaired corrupted files, but restarting didn't appear to fix anything. I'm considering reinstalling Windows 11, but the computer doesn't seem to recognize my installation flash drive. I'm not very experienced with PC repairs—should I try more troubleshooting, reinstall Windows, or take it to a repair shop?

Before attempting a full reinstall, clarify exactly what errors or symptoms you’re seeing and back up any important files if possible. Since the system is now having black-screen issues, failing diagnostics, and not responding normally even after repairing system files, this could be more serious than a browser or network problem. A repair shop may be the safest option if you don’t have another computer available to create and test proper installation media.
A Windows installer flash drive has to be created as bootable media, and the laptop may need to be started from it through the boot menu or BIOS. If the drive isn’t detected, it could be the way the USB was created, the port, the drive itself, or a BIOS boot setting. Don’t change disk or BIOS settings until your important data is backed up, because a clean installation can erase the drive. Given the failed automatic repair and worsening symptoms, professional help is reasonable.
You can try opening Command Prompt as administrator and running `sfc /scannow`, then restart the computer normally. The restart only needs to be a regular reboot; a complete shutdown isn’t usually required. If it reports repaired files but the same problems return, run the repair again or follow it with `DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth`. If Windows remains unstable, back up your files before considering a clean installation.
