AirDrop consistently fails when sending photos from my Mac to iPhone

My iPhone 14 Pro Max and 16-inch 2021 MacBook Pro with an M1 Pro cannot transfer images between each other using AirDrop. Both devices are fully updated. When I share an image from Safari on the Mac, the iPhone appears correctly and the transfer starts, but it always stops and shows a failure message. Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on both devices, and AirDrop is set to allow everyone. What else should I try to fix this?

Double-check that both devices are connected to the same Wi‑Fi network and that Bluetooth is enabled on each one. As a troubleshooting step, set AirDrop to allow everyone on both devices, then try the transfer again.

Both devices are on the same Wi‑Fi network, Bluetooth is enabled, and I’ve already tested with AirDrop set to allow everyone. The transfer still fails every time.
