I'm using a Ryzen 5 3600X with an RTX 3060 Ti and playing at 1440p. On high settings, I'm getting around 180 FPS in Valorant and roughly 70–80 FPS in Rainbow Six Siege. Those results are generally normal. Both games can be heavily CPU-limited, especially at high frame rates, and the Ryzen 5 3600X isn’t particularly strong by current standards. The 3060 Ti may not be the limiting component in these games.
If you want the highest possible frame rate for competitive play, lower the settings and check your CPU usage, GPU usage, temperatures, and memory configuration. Competitive games usually benefit more from CPU performance than from increasing GPU quality settings. A newer CPU would likely improve the frame rate more than replacing the graphics card.
Your Rainbow Six Siege performance sounds about right for 1440p on high settings. Valorant benchmarks showing around 180 FPS are often recorded at 1080p, so they aren’t directly comparable to your 1440p results. Resolution, map, game version, and benchmark method can all make a noticeable difference.
