I'm new to building PCs and trying to keep cable management as simple as possible. Are there thick, combined, or otherwise easier-to-manage replacement cables I can buy for the power supply and other components, or would extensions and custom cables just make the build more expensive without reducing the number of cables?

Some power supplies come with their cables bundled in a single sleeve, which can make them look tidier. The downside is that sleeved cables can be stiffer and harder to bend, so they may not actually make installation easier. Planning the cable routes and using the case’s tie-down points will help more.
There really isn’t a replacement cable that eliminates the main connections. You’ll still need the 24-pin motherboard cable, the CPU power cable, and the necessary GPU power cables. Extensions can improve appearance, but they don’t reduce the amount of cable you have to route. For a normal build, the included cables are usually fine.
Custom cables can look cleaner and may be easier to route, but they won’t remove the cable-management work. They’re mostly a visual upgrade and can cost quite a bit more, so they’re generally not necessary for a first build.
Yes, unless you specifically want a certain color or appearance. Just make sure any replacement cables are made for your exact power-supply model.
So it’s better to keep the power supply’s original cables instead of replacing them?
