Are These Unusually Cheap RTX 5090 Listings Legitimate or Scams?

I keep seeing ads on TikTok for Nvidia GPUs, including RTX 5090 cards, listed at prices far below what reputable retailers charge. I have screenshots showing the prices and the seller's username, but I'm not sure whether the listings are genuine. What should I check before trusting or buying from a seller offering a deal that seems this cheap?

At best, you could receive a damaged or counterfeit card; at worst, the seller disappears after taking your money. Check for independent reviews, a verifiable business identity, detailed photos, a realistic return policy, and payment protection. A screenshot of an advertisement or a username alone doesn’t establish that the seller is legitimate.

If a supposedly new RTX 5090 is priced dramatically below every established retailer, assume it’s a scam until proven otherwise. The low price is usually meant to override common sense and get buyers to ignore obvious warning signs. Don’t send payment through an unprotected method, and verify the seller through an established marketplace with buyer protection.
