My 12-year-old computer has finally given up, so I'm taking the opportunity to build a new system. I put this parts list together about a year ago and would appreciate feedback on whether anything should be changed, replaced, or updated before I buy. I've mainly used Intel systems in the past, so I'm also less familiar with AMD hardware. I already own a CPU cooler that I purchased recently and plan to reuse it.

The build looks unusually high-end in some areas, so make sure the parts are balanced and that the CPU cooler you already have is suitable for the processor. Also confirm that the cooler includes the correct mounting hardware for the platform. Since the list is about a year old, recheck current prices and newer alternatives before ordering.
Double-check that the exact DDR5 memory kit is compatible with your motherboard. DDR5 can be pretty picky, so it’s worth checking the board’s qualified memory list or a manufacturer compatibility configurator. Ideally, look for a kit with the same capacity and speed that has been tested with your specific motherboard.

There’s no bait intended—I’m just more familiar with Intel and wanted advice before switching platforms. I also already have a recently purchased CPU cooler, so I’m planning to use that rather than buy another one.
