Could you review this €1,500–€2,000 PC build for gaming, coding, and 3D work?

I'm planning a new PC in Germany with a budget of €1,500–€1,800, though I could stretch to €2,000 if the upgrade is worthwhile. I'll mainly use it for gaming, coding, studying administrative informatics, occasional 3D work, and eventually learning 3D printing. I may also add a second monitor, since I currently use my laptop display as a second screen. My current €1,621 build includes a Ryzen 7 7700X, a Peerless Assassin 140 cooler, an ASRock B850 Steel Legend WiFi motherboard, 16GB of DDR5-6000 memory, a 2TB Lexar NQ790 NVMe SSD, a Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB, a Corsair 4000D-style case, and a 750W Seasonic power supply. What would you change for better value, gaming performance, or 3D and workstation work?

You can reduce the cost without sacrificing much performance. A Phantom Spirit 120 SE is a slightly better-value cooler, and a less expensive B850M board should perform similarly. Increase the memory to 32GB since coding, development tools, and 3D applications can use more than 16GB. A TLC SSD would also be a better long-term choice. A smaller airflow-focused case and a 650W fully modular ATX 3 power supply should be sufficient for this system, assuming the final graphics card does not require more.

One alternative keeps the overall cost about the same but focuses more on production and 3D workloads. A stronger workstation-oriented CPU and an Nvidia graphics card could be worthwhile if your 3D software benefits from CUDA or better Nvidia support. I’d also choose a TLC-based SSD rather than a cheaper QLC model for better endurance, use a more affordable case, and select a modern, appropriately sized power supply.
