I'm planning my first PC build and want something strong enough to run most AAA games at around 120 FPS, rather than an ultra-high-end competitive gaming system. My goal is for the build to remain capable for roughly three to five years without needing part replacements, assuming nothing fails. The current parts list includes a Radeon RX 9070 XT and a white-themed design. I'm mainly planning to play at 1440p, since 4K gaming isn't essential for me. Are there any compatibility issues, weak points, or places where I could get better value?

The main thing to keep in mind is that an all-white build often costs more for the same performance. For example, a white CPU cooler can cost much more than the equivalent black version. If aesthetics are important, that’s perfectly reasonable, but it’s one of the easiest places to reduce the budget if needed.
The power supply isn’t necessarily unusable, but there may be newer or better-value options available. If saving money matters, a standard black model is often considerably cheaper than a white one. The white theme can add a noticeable premium without improving performance or reliability.
The build generally looks reasonable for 1440p. A 9070 XT should handle that resolution well, although consistently reaching 120 FPS in every AAA game may require adjusting settings or using FSR and frame generation. Native 4K at 120 FPS would be a much more demanding target.
I don’t specifically need 4K. I’ll stick with 1440p unless games eventually make 4K the practical standard.
The 1TB SSD may fill up quickly if you install several large AAA games. Consider starting with a 2TB drive or leaving room to add another internal SSD later. An external drive can work for storing less frequently played games, but an additional internal drive is usually more convenient for active gaming.
When you say additional storage, do you mean a separate drive that plugs in when needed, or would adding another internal SSD be the better option?

I’m open to comparing newer white models, though the all-white look is a big part of the build for me.
