I'm a high school student, and my teachers gave me permission to add a working calculator to our classroom smart display. I've been trying to figure it out for several days but haven't made any progress. What is the correct way to add or access a calculator? I'm not sure whether I should install software from a laptop or phone, use the display's built-in apps, or try something through its web browser.

You probably won’t be able to install software directly because school-managed smart displays are often locked down. If the display has a web browser, the simplest option is to use a browser-based calculator and bookmark it. The exact options depend on the display model and how your school has configured it, so the school’s IT or educational technology staff should handle any installation.
Transferring a calculator program from your phone or laptop usually isn’t the right approach. If the display runs Android and has access to an approved app store, there may already be calculator apps available. If it is connected to a Windows computer, Mac, or Chromebook, open that device’s built-in Calculator app and display it on the board. Some smart displays also include a limited set of built-in tools.
That makes sense. I’ll first look for a built-in calculator or use the connected computer, with my teachers’ permission.
If the browser is available, an ad-free online calculator can work without installing anything. Bookmarking the page would make it easy to open later. Just make sure the website is allowed by the school’s policies.
