How can I document intermittent BSODs to support a refund claim?

I have an ASUS Vivobook M1605YA that has randomly shown blue screens since its third or fourth month of use. I cannot find any consistent pattern, and the crash screen disappears so quickly that I have never managed to photograph the error. The laptop has been returned to the store four times, but each time they said they could not find a fault and simply reset the system. The problem keeps coming back. After the latest repair, the store told me they would consider a refund if I could provide proof of the failure. Is there a safe way to capture useful evidence or reproduce the issue without deliberately damaging the laptop or making the diagnostics unusable?

Since the laptop has already been repaired four times, document everything: dates, what you were doing when each crash occurred, the stop code, dump files, repair paperwork, and a short recording if possible. Ask the store to perform a proper hardware test for memory, storage, overheating, and drivers. A reset alone does not prove the underlying fault was fixed.

Open Windows settings for startup and recovery, then make sure the system is set to create a small memory dump and not automatically restart immediately after a crash. That gives you time to read or photograph the stop code next time it happens. You can also use a phone to record the screen while using the laptop normally, but do not run software designed to force a BSOD.

You should not intentionally trigger a crash or use prank software. Windows normally creates crash-dump files after a BSOD, and those may provide better evidence than a video. Check C:WindowsMinidump and copy any files somewhere safe. The Reliability Monitor and Event Viewer can also show the crash history. If the store has technical staff, give them the dump files rather than only describing what happened.
